Jessica R. Blaemire

Jessica is a litigator who concentrates on business and franchise disputes.

Prior to joining Cheng Cohen, Jessica was a litigation associate in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Jessica was a fellow at the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago and continues to provide pro bono assistance to individuals of limited means on family law issues, including adoption and child guardianships.

Jessica received her Juris Doctorate from The University of Virginia School of Law. She graduated summa cum laude from the College of William and Mary, where she earned her degree in Sociology and American Studies and was Phi Beta Kappa.

Jessica is licensed to practice in Illinois. She is an alumni member of the Public Interest Law Association, a member of the Young Professionals Board of the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago, and a member of the Lesbian and Gay Bar Association of Chicago.
