• Amy Cheng will co-present a program entitled “Dealing With Thorny Transfer Issues” at the International Franchise Association’s 43rd Annual Legal Symposium, May 16-18, 2010 in Washington, D.C.
  
  
• In May, 2010, Amy Cheng will conduct a session on franchise legal compliance at the Franchise Mini MBA™ program on “Franchise Sales and Development” sponsored by the International Institute of Franchise Education. The session will be held at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business & Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. • On May 10, 2010, Lacey D. Cordero will present a program on franchising during the Northwest Suburban Bar Association Business/Corporate Committee Meeting.
  
  
• Cheng Cohen LLC participates in and sponsors a new franchise sales management and compliance program entitled “Fran-Guard” in conjunction with the International Franchise Association and the Institute of Certified Franchise Executives. Seminars are being conducted in several cities and will address the importance of system-wide compliance to protect franchise systems.
