Tara and her husband rescued a hound mutt in June 2016 and named him Maddon – a few months later the Cubs won the World Series.

Tara is a commercial litigator who represents clients in courts and alternative dispute resolution forums across the country. She has handled a wide variety of complex matters, including corporate governance, unfair competition, breach of contract, and intellectual property claims. Tara manages cases from commencement of litigation through trial or hearing and has experience managing all phases of discovery and eDiscovery.
Prior to joining Cheng Cohen, Tara was an associate at an intellectual property boutique where she focused on patent and trademark infringement litigation. In law school, Tara earned an intellectual property certificate and studied business law abroad.
