Following our call for more balanced evidence of the franchisor-franchisee experience, Cheng Cohen recently submitted its own response to the FTC’s RFI on certain franchise practices. Cheng Cohen’s response focuses on the FTC’s requests for information about franchisors’ negotiation of franchise agreements, right to evolve the franchise system, inclusion of certain standard provisions in franchise agreements, and practices with respect to supplier rebates.
