We are seeking a licensed attorney to join our team of experienced transactional attorneys. Our lawyers are first and foremost general business lawyers, though our clients are principal franchise brands. We deal with a broad spectrum of general business issues as well as the regulatory schemes under which all franchisors must operate. Experience with franchise law is an advantage, but not required. The right candidate is an attorney who can demonstrate exceptional transactional skills, including structuring, drafting, reviewing and negotiating sophisticated contracts; reviewing and understanding intricate regulations and statutes; and managing demanding complex multi-faceted transactions. Responsibilities will include drafting various franchise-related agreements and regulatory filings (e.g., franchise disclosure documents) and working on other general corporate transactions in a fast-paced environment. A large part of our transactional practice also involves representing franchisors or private equity groups in mergers and acquisitions involving franchise systems.

Responsibilities will include legal research, drafting motions and pleadings, conducting discovery, and assisting our senior attorneys at oral arguments, depositions, and trial.
