Antonia Scholz will be participating in a break-out session discussion on how to protect the franchise system in a world without enforceable non-competition covenants. This session will provide an overview of the optimal ways to protect the franchisor, its proprietary information and the franchise system in the wake of the FTC’s recent ban on non-competes. Max DeLeon will be participating in a basics track panel discussion on franchise litigation. This session will cover the lifecycle of a franchise action from start to finish, focusing on important procedural considerations, typical claims and practical strategies for optimizing the likelihood of success. The session is scheduled for 3:30 pm (EST) on May 6, 2024.
