Stephen is an experienced commercial litigator who has defended his clients’ rights across the country in federal and state court, alternative dispute resolution forums, and appeals. He assists clients with a wide variety of complex claims, including those relating to franchise law violations, breach of contract, unfair and deceptive trade practices, and intellectual property. Stephen also advises his clients on intellectual property licensing and business formation.

Prior to joining Cheng Cohen, Stephen practiced in a small law firm specializing in intellectual property litigation, where he served as lead counsel in a wide range of matters including patent, trademark, and copyright litigation, trade secret misappropriation, breach of contract, and fraud.
