Matt brings extensive experience advising and representing franchisor clients, informed by years in both private practice and an in-house legal leadership role with a national franchisor. He approaches litigation with a strong appreciation for the ways in which legal strategy bears on brand, operations, and business risk.

Before joining Cheng Cohen, Matt handled complex commercial and franchise-related disputes nationwide, and, in his in-house role, worked closely with business leaders and outside counsel to manage high-stakes litigation and achieve favorable outcomes for the company.
