Tyler is a commercial litigator who represents clients in courts and alternative dispute resolution forums across the country. He handles a wide range of disputes, including those relating to franchise law violations, breach of contract, unfair and deceptive trade practices, and intellectual property. He assists clients throughout the litigation process and advises clients on litigation avoidance and regulatory compliance.

Before joining Cheng Cohen, Tyler worked as a staff law clerk for the Seventh Circuit and a judicial law clerk for the Honorable John H. Ehrlich in the Circuit Court of Cook County. While in law school, Tyler was an Online Articles Editor for Northwestern University Law Review and participated in the MacArthur Justice Center Civil Rights Litigation Clinic. He also clerked for a civil rights law firm and worked as a research assistant, where he studied, among other things, various procedural mechanisms for resolving complex disputes.
